Buxom Customizable Eyeshadow Palette

Yep, I’m a sucker for customizing palettes. So I was really excited to see my Sephora finally stocked up on most of the colors I liked. I wanted to create a palette that I could travel with this summer, and use for day and night, subtle and crazy. Here’s what I came up with.

Let me take you through the shades.
On the left is Satin Seduction, which I will use as a highlight. It is described as “bisque luster.”
Next, is Spoiled Sexy, a “deep matte mauve,” which I thought would be good as a crease and transition shade.

Glitz Factor is a “metallic copper” that I thought would be nice for a summery bronze look all over the lid.

Party Girl, a “fuchsia luster” is my bold pink for when I really need some color.

No Faux is described as “iridescent snakeskin.” It looks green in the pan, but applies brown with a green shift. Similar to MAC’s blue brown pigement, but with green. You’ll see in the swatch.

Finally, Patent Leather is a “sparkling blackberry” that will be great for the outer corners or a super smokey eye.

All of the shades are quite pigmented. Party Girl was a bit powdery, but still can be worked with. Patent Leather has the potential for some fallout because of the sparkle. The rest are buttery and delightful to touch.
Buxom also came out with some pre-made palettes that look phenomenal. I highly recommend checking out your nearest Sephora to play with the shades and come up with something to suit your needs.
