spring pink
[may contain affiliate links] Hello, class! Please forgive my erratic posting schedule – it’s a rough time of year! Anyway, I was going through my collection yesterday trying to look for a nice pink lipstick now that the weather is warming up. Normally I strongly dislike pink anything, but something about the temperatures soaring into the 70’s makes me reach for shades of pink. I thought I’d share with you some pink lipsticks that I found that you might like.

Let’s start matte.
Inglot Lip Pencil in shade 28 is a beautiful blueish pink. It is one of my favorite long-lasting formulas.
MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour in To Matte With Love is a a bright raspberry and a great option if you’re looking for a liquid-to-matte formula. I wrote about it here.
Another bright option is Urban Decay’s Turn On. This is their original formula, which is creamy but not especially so. Turn on is more of a lilac-leaning pink.
For a sheerer choice, check out MAC’s Lustering. This is their lustre formula, which is far from my favorite. However, it can be nice on a day that you don’t want something drying on your lips. Lustering is a redder pink.
I have two options that are more baby pink. One is Bite Beauty’s new Amuse Bouche lipstick in Sugarcane. I wrote about this in detail here.
Finally, check out Marc Jacobs’ Georgie Girl. which I’m convinced is one of the most perfect light pinks. The formula is creamy but lasts quite a while.

As you can see, there are a variety of options here. Many are work appropriate and others are great for a weekend outing! Please share your favorite spring pink lipsticks in the comments!
