2016 In Review
Hello, class! As we head towards 2017 I wanted to take a brief moment to review this past year, including some successes and my favorite posts of the last twelve months.
First of all, 2016 was the year that thisteacherwearsmakeup.com was established. (Well, it may have been the very end of 2015, but it still counts.) After my original blogspot domain was stolen, my brother kindly gifted me this new one, and it has been fabulous ever since.
I’ve also gained about 1500 Instagram followers. My Instagram account has had relatively slow growth compared to other bloggers of similar style, but for someone with a full-time job and other interests, I consider this to be a decent achievement.

December 27, 2016 at 1:27 pmWell. I had originally used blogspot. Someone hacked into my gmail account and transferred ownership of the blog to another account before I was able to regain control of my google. Blogger/Google offered very little help as their policy is very much “whoever appears to own it now is obviously the owner.” My brother was able to retrieve most of my content, and I eventually had the account that did the stealing investigated for impersonation, etc. for all of the content that was mine that was still posted.
